Operation
C, released as Contra in Japan and as Probotector in Europe and
Oceania, is a 1991 run and gun game by Konami released for the Gameboy.
It is the first portable installment in the Contra series and features
the same play mechanics as the NES versions of Contra and Super C. As in
previous installments for the arcade and NES, the player takes control
of an armed commando who must infiltrate an enemy base and complete is
mission. This time, the objective is to prevent the resurrection of the
aliens from the previous game by destroying an alien cell being kept by
the enemy inside a top-secret laboratory.
